The hotel was super clean and the decorations were all festive for the holidays! The food was amazing, especially the haggis burger, it was the best! Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had a nice comfy vibe, and the heaters worked great since it was cold outside. Parking was easy and it was just a quick walk to the town center.
the shower was a bit tricky to use, and i recommend bringing aqua shoes because the tubs were kinda slippery.

Actually everything was perfect. Plenty of food for breakfast, which was brilliant to satisfy everyone. The room was neat and fashionable, with a great decor and an electric kettle, a private safe and central heating for my comfort.

Very friendly staff.
On the first day we had yoghurt for breakfast, on the following days unfortunately not, despite the demand.

The temperature control in some areas was quite the dilemma!!! The cleaning of carpets in high-traffic areas could certainly use more attention to make a better first impression!!!

The Superior room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a huge window looking out over the lawn to the hills in the distance. Staff were very helpful, obliging and responded quickly to anything requiring attention in the room. Evening meals were excellent for choice, quality and value. Ideal location in a small town away from a main road but close enough to Edinburgh for tourists and shopping and well situated to explore the beautiful Borders countryside. Leadburn Manor trout fishery is a only a short drive away and we enjoyed a day out there.
